Follieri pleaded guilty to wire fraud and money laundering for swindling over $50 million from investors by claiming he had inside ties to the Vatican in August 2008. He was sentenced to 4 and 1/2 years in prison for all of his charges.

Anne Hathaway’s all personal items received from ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri, be permanently relinquished to the United States government.
