Hollywood’s biggest and most glamorous night dazzled its viewers at the 82nd Annual Academy Awards. The Award Ceremony was held at the Kodak Theatre last night, on March 7, 2010 in Hollywood, California. And obviously Katryn Bigelow who became the first woman ever to win the Best Directing Award, hit the Oscar Awards last night.

Kathryn Bigelow won the Best Director and Best Picture for with her war drama “The Hurt Locker” at Oscar Awards last night. The Hurt Locker took home four more prizes including Film Editing, Sound Editing, Sound Mixing and the Best Screenplay at the 2010 Academy Awards.

Jeff Bridges won Best Actor for his role as a grizzled, alcoholic country singer in Crazy Heart. Sandra Bullock won Best Actress for her role as a tenacious foster mom inThe Blind Side. Mo’Nique won Best Supporting Actress for her role taking a dramatic turn as an abusive welfare mom in Precious. Christoph Waltz won Best Supporting Actor for his role as a Nazi officer in Inglorious Basterds.

“Up” won the Best Animated Feature Film. “Avatar” won the Best Art Direction and Best Cinematography awards. “The Cove,” took the Best Documentary award with its story of animal-rights activists tracking the annual killing of dolphins in Japan.

Celebrity jeweler Bochic has launched a charitable initiative in conjunction with the 2010 awards season. Any of the brand’s pieces worn by a star on one of the famed red carpets will be auctioned off this spring. All the money collected from the auction will go to Charity: Water to support clean drinking solutions in Haiti.

Sandra Bullock is the first who took an action immediately right after she heard this plan and donated an Alexander McQueen dress and a diamond-adorned Bochic bracelet. She had dazzled the viewers with her amazing look at the 2010 SAG Awards. Now the $5,250 black Bakelite dazzler- 18kt white gold and diamond accented bangle, will go to the highest bidder in April.

According to David Joseph, Bochic founder, “We love Sandra, we have worked with her in the past. She is a very caring individual and we are beyond thrilled to have her support in this charitable initiative.”

67th annual Golden Globe awards on Sunday in Los Angeles hosted Hollywood’s biggest stars. The celebrities dazzled the red carpet viewers with their gorgeous gowns and jewelry.

Penelope Cruz wore an off-the-shoulder black lace-trimmed Giorgio Armani Prive gown and paired her updo with platinum and diamond earrings (20 carats), diamond bracelet (42 carats), and a pink diamond ring (7 carats) by Chopard.

Award winner Sandra Bullock chose a strapless violet Bottega Veneta gown –paired with a sexy sheer skirt, paired with a clutch from the same designer. She accessorized her amazing look with gorgeous 40-carat shoulder-sweeping blackened-gold earrings and a 20-carat gray diamond ring from Lorraine Schwartz.

Maggie Gyllenhaal dazzled the rain-soaked red carpet in a peachy-pink RM by Roland Mouret gown with one-shoulder design. She finished her look with simple diamond drop Bulgari earrings.

Drew Barrymore walked the red carpet in an ultra-modern Atelier Versace design dress with curve-flaunting clusters of beads at the shoulder and hip. She finished her look with Lorraine Schwartz diamond studs and one whopper of a moonstone statement ring.

Julianne Moore displayed her shoulders in an elegant satin Balenciaga gown. She finished the timeless look with Bulgari emerald teardrop earrings.
