However, there\u2019s one other criteria you should include in your search for the perfect ring: the diamond certificate.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is the Diamond Certificate?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The diamond certificate is an official document that illustrates where a diamond came from, the quality of the diamond, and if the diamond is conflict-free.  The diamond certificate can also be known as a diamond grading report, as it contains the kind of information on it that helps jewelers determine the price point of the diamond.  Because <a href=\"http:\/\/www.25karats.com\/diamond\/\">diamonds<\/a> are priced according to their quality, the diamond certificate is indispensable for those jewelers who want to accurately price their products.  <\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the diamond certificate ensures that you\u2019re not paying more for a diamond that\u2019s worth a lot less!<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Components of the Diamond Certificate<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The diamond certificate contains information about the cut, color, clarity, and carat of the diamond.  However, the certificate doesn\u2019t stop there. You want to ensure that the GIA, AGS, or EGL Laboratories produced your diamond certificate.  These are the three labs that are respected around the world, so look for diamond certificates that carry their name.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, you should look for a diamond certificate that indicates whether or not the diamond is conflict-free.  Many countries in Africa are plagued by war and violence due to control over the diamond mining industry.
