Most girls dream of that one engagement ring to make them happy for a life time. For Posh Spice, the bar seems to be just a bit higher. Since international soccer star David Beckham proposed to the former Spice Girl in 1998, she was spotted wearing 13 engagement rings, with a total worth estimated at $6.5 million. Clearly, an engagement ring is more than a sentimental token for Mrs Beckham: it’s a fashion statement! The fashion designer is not shy at showing off the most brilliant rings at important events. In July, she was photographed wearing a $16,000 yellow gold ring with an emerald cut diamond at the men’s singles final match at Wimbledon Tennis Championships.
Some of her other notable bling blings included a diamond band in 2002 that’s worth $8,000, and a pear cut diamond ring in 2005 estimated at $260,000. In 2006, Mrs Beckham opted for a baguette cut engagement ring that was rumored to be $400,000. Next year, she raised the bar with a $800,000 emerald ring with diamond halo.
And in 2009, she attended a Marc Jacobs fashion show, wearing a huge radiant cut diamond ring estimated at $800,000, and stole the spotlight.
Although it’s possible that Posh didn’t own all 13 rings, having access to such magnificent jewelry pieces is a dream by itself.
