Braided & Rope His & Hers Wedding Bands

Separate strands of metal wound into a single band, a metaphor you do not need us to explain. Braided sets look especially good in two tone, where each partner's gold color runs through both rings.

Woven and Rope Twist Matching Wedding Bands

A braided band is genuinely harder to make than a cast one. The strands are drawn, woven and soldered before the ring is sized and finished, and the quality of a braid shows in whether the weave stays even all the way around, including underneath where nobody looks. Ours are woven in-house in New York rather than bought in, which is why we can adjust strand count and width to order.

Braided or Rope Twist

A braid interlaces three or more separate strands and reads as distinct woven sections, with visible shadow between them. A rope twist winds the metal into a tighter, more uniform spiral: the same idea with a cleaner and more subtle texture. Rope designs also sit slightly lower on the finger, which some people prefer for daily wear.

Two Tone Braids

This is the style where two tone gold earns its keep. Running yellow gold through a white gold weave, or reversing the colors between the two rings, gives you a pair that reads as a set from across a room without either band being loud about it.

Living With a Braided Band

Woven bands have more surface area than a plain band, so they catch light beautifully but also collect more day to day. A soft brush and warm soapy water keeps the weave crisp, and we will re-finish any band we made at any point in its life.

Available in 10K, 14K and 18K gold and platinum. All sets include free engraving, a lifetime warranty and free 60-day returns.

Buying one ring rather than a pair? These designs are also available as individual bands in our handmade and braided wedding bands collection.
