Every wedding band we sell is made after you order it. Our jewelers work in New York City's Diamond District, and each ring is finished by hand in 10K, 14K or 18K white, yellow and rose gold, in platinum, or in palladium on selected styles. Most designs come in several widths and in flat, low dome or comfort fit profiles, so a couple can order the same design in proportions that suit each of them.

Made to order, and adjustable

Because nothing is pulled off a shelf, most rings can be adjusted: a wider band, a different finish, a change of metal. Engraving inside the band is included at no cost. If nothing in the collection is quite right, our design team can build a ring from scratch in about two weeks. On this site they are the same piece: a ring you wear every day after you marry. “Wedding band” is the usual name for a continuous metal ring. “Wedding ring” is the broader shopper term and includes diamond, carved, and matching-set styles. This page is the hub for all of them — women’s wedding rings, men’s wedding bands, and his & hers sets. Engagement rings are a separate category.

Made to order. Nothing is pulled off a shelf in a single stocked metal. After you order, the ring is built at our New York Diamond District bench in the karat, color, width, profile, and finish you picked. That is why the same design can be 10K, 14K, or 18K gold, platinum, or palladium on selected styles. The product page shows the estimated ship date for that spec. If you need a design that is not in the catalog, custom jewelry design takes about two weeks.

No. A lot of couples want the same design in two widths. Others mix a plain men’s band with a diamond women’s ring, or share a metal and change the finish. If you do want one design cut as a pair, start on his & hers wedding bands. Matching sets are made together, so the braid, carving, or two-tone layout actually lines up. You can still shop men’s and women’s separately and order them in the same metal.

Yes, on most designs. Pick the style first, then the spec: 10K, 14K, or 18K in white, yellow, or rose; platinum; widths from about 3mm to 12mm depending on the model; high polish, satin, hammered, and other finishes. Two-tone layouts (yellow-white-yellow, white-yellow-white) are on the style page when the design supports them. Engraving inside the band is free. If the dropdowns still are not right, use customizable wedding bands or the custom design form.

10K is the hardest of the three we make and the default on many product pages. 14K is the usual everyday balance of gold color and durability. 18K is the richest yellow or rose and the softest, so it shows wear faster on a wide men’s band. We make the same design in all three after you order. Platinum is heavier, naturally white, and hypoallergenic if you want to skip rhodium. Yes. You can shop IGI-certified lab grown diamonds by shape and spec and set them in engagement rings, or choose a diamond wedding band and tell us you want lab grown stones. Lab grown diamonds are priced below comparable mined stones of the same cut, color, and clarity. The band itself is still made to order in gold or platinum in New York. If you want a diamond-look band without a diamond at all, that is a different product (moissanite or a plain/carved metal band).

Yes. A lab grown diamond is carbon in the diamond crystal structure, grown by CVD or HPHT instead of mined. Same hardness, same refractive index, same look in the setting. It is not cubic zirconia, not moissanite, and not a “simulant.” Ours are IGI certified, so the report lists the same 4Cs you would expect on a mined stone. The difference is origin and price, not whether it is a diamond. We also sell mined-diamond styles; say which you want on the product page or when you start a custom.

Comfort fit means the inside of the band is domed, so only the center of the ring touches the finger. It slides over the knuckle more easily and traps less moisture, which matters on something worn every day. It also fits larger than a standard flat-inside band. Order about a half size down from a measured standard size, and measure at the end of the day. Use our ring size method, or ask us to mail a sizer. Most men’s bands here are comfort fit; women’s widths vary by style.

Most gold and platinum bands we make can be sized later. Complimentary sizing is included. Rings that are harder to size: full eternity diamond bands, some tension or channel-set styles, and alternative metals (titanium, cobalt, ceramic on Benchmark). If he works with his hands and may change weight, prefer a plain or lightly set gold/platinum band over a full diamond eternity. Tell us the concern on the order; we would rather pick a sizable construction than promise a resize we cannot do.

Yes. Inside engraving is free on 25karats wedding rings and can be added on the product page before checkout. On carved, braided, or two-tone exteriors we put the inscription inside the band so it does not fight the design. Keep it short: a date, two names, or a short line. If you are ordering a his & hers set, each ring can have a different inscription.

Free U.S. shipping, free engraving, complimentary sizing, a 60-day return window, and a lifetime warranty on craftsmanship. White gold can be re-rhodiumed under that service when the finish wears. Returns: the ring has to be unworn and in original condition; engraved pieces are often non-returnable, so size first. Every product page restates the ship-by date for that spec because the ring does not exist until you order it.

If you want two rings that clearly belong together, open his & hers wedding bands first — one design, two proportions. If only one of you is shopping, use women’s wedding rings or men’s wedding bands and match metal later.
