Benchmark is a specialist wedding band maker whose name has stood on quality bands for decades, and this page is its catalog within our men's collection. Most of what we sell is our own design, made at our New York bench; these are Benchmark's, carried because the brand does a few things exceptionally well.

Precision as a style

A Benchmark band is made to a tight, repeatable specification, and the collection reads that way. Comfort fit interiors run through effectively the whole line. Widths are specified to the half millimeter, with 6.5mm and 7.5mm sitting alongside the usual 6, 7 and 8. Finishes are engineered in pairs: a satin or wire finished center between high polished round edges, milgrain borders over polished shoulders, drop bevel edges that step the shoulder down at an angle. The heart of the range is 6mm to 8mm, with slimmer bands down to 2.5mm at its edges.

Named designs

Benchmark names its patterns, and the names are literal. Victorian Floral and Floral Motifs of the Victorian Era are dense antique florals. Enchanted Forest and Harvest of Love are carved nature motifs. Wheat, Cross Hatch, Mesh Center and Parallel Grooves describe exactly the texture they carry, and Celtic Knot and Gaelic Cross bring the brand's take on knotwork. The Light Comfort series applies the same design language to a lighter band. A handful of designs run two colors of gold; most keep to one metal and let the carving carry the design.
