A classic band worn next to an engagement ring is a proportion decision before it is anything else. A narrow band lets the engagement ring lead, which is why this collection starts at 2.5mm; a wider band reads as its own piece and stands up to being worn alone. Both are correct, they are just different decisions.

Profile is the design

With no pattern to carry, the cross section does the work: flat bands with square shoulders, half round domes, knife edges that throw a single bright line, Euro soft edge flats with the corners eased, and a concave profile that curves inward and catches light along its channel. Most designs offer a comfort fit interior, which clears the knuckle more easily and runs about half a size large, so order down accordingly and measure at the end of the day. Finish, from bright to quiet

High polish is the traditional bridal finish and shows fine scratches soonest. Satin, angle satin and wire matte diffuse the surface so daily marks blend into the grain, and Florentine and rough finishes go further still. Milgrain edging, a row of tiny beads along each border, adds an antique note to an otherwise plain band. Any finish can be restored, and refinishing is covered by the lifetime warranty.

Plain, or with a row of stones
