Hue

Determining the predominant color of a colored gemstone, and classifying it using seven standard spectrum colors; red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, or violet. For example, a green gemstone may also show a tiny bit of blue, and would be classified as vslbG, meaning very slightly bluish-Green. The dominant color is capitalized when abbreviated.
